Oklahoma City Navy Week

Oklahoma City Navy Week started at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. Rear Admiral Peg Klein, Navy League President Robin Syba, Councilman David Greenwell, along with Executive Director, Kari Watkins, and Memorial architects Hans and Torrey Butzer placed a wreath at the Survivor Tree in honor of those impacted by the bombing. “It’s a great symbol of how the people of OKC come together whether it’s a tragedy or something to celebrate. My three tours here in Oklahoma City always showed me that the folks here are wonderful in how they come together,” said Rear Admiral Peg Klein. More than 1,500 persons are part of the Naval wing here in Oklahoma City.
