21st Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony

This morning marked the 21st Anniversary of the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. We are so very thankful to First Church who allowed us to use their sanctuary just east of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum as we gathered to honor those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever. The Ceremony was led by Chairman Mike Turpen. Rev. M. Price Oswalt from St. Joseph Old Cathedral offered a prayer. Governor Mary Fallin and Mayor Mick Cornett spoke about the strength of Oklahomans and the resilience of Oklahoma City. We appreciate all of our families, survivors and rescue workers who read the 168 names.
You can watch the Remembrance Ceremony in its entirety here on Facebook Live.

Mike Turpen read a special letter given to the Memorial last week by
President Barack Obama. Find it below.
