The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is excited to announce our slate of events for the week of Spring Break. Make this Spring Break an enriching one by attending impactful programs all week.

SPRING BREAK SCHEDULE

Teacher Free Days

Teachers and a guest are invited to tour the Museum for FREE! This is a great opportunity to learn about programs and resources to teach this important event in history.

National Park Service Junior Ranger Program
10:00am – 2:00pm

During your visit to the Memorial, participate in an activity-based program for children led by Park Rangers and receive official Junior Ranger patches and certificates.

The program is FREE, but registration is required.

2:00pm – 2:30pm

Tour a special collection of artifacts not normally on display for the public. Hear from our archivists about how the Museum preserves collections in our archives to tell stories and teach lessons learned from the bombing.

STEM Lab Exploration – Forensic Science
2:30pm – 3:30pm

Join us for a public hands-on demonstration in our Uncover-Discover STEM Lab. Explore a lesson on Forensic Science that follows the story of the Oklahoma City bombing investigation.

Recorra el Museo, guiado en español y eche un vistazo tras bambalinas a los archivos y escuche a nuestros archivistas sobre cómo el bombardeo afectó a la comunidad hispana en OKC.

Experience the NPS Junior Ranger program as part of a unique, hands-on guided tour of the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial led by a Park Ranger. Complete a series of activities during the tour and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and certificate.

Environmental Science Family STEM Experience
4:00pm – 6:00pm

Bring your family to learn how environmental science was used to honor those impacted by the bombing. Explore the environmental benefits of the trees shading the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial with Urban Forestry experts, and in the Uncover-Discover STEM Lab on large interactive touch screen tables, create your own design for the Memorial using a digital landscape-design program.
