Applications are open for the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum inaugural Teen Board. We are looking for high school students who exemplify the core values of the Oklahoma Standard – Service, Honor, and Kindness. Connect and give back by bringing the mission of the Memorial Museum to your community.
About the Program
Students will meet once a month, September – May, with additional opportunities to participate in exciting leadership activities and volunteer for causes closely tied to the mission of the Memorial, including the Memorial Marathon.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the Oklahoma City bombing and the lessons learned that are still very relevant today.
- Earn community-service credit.
- Meet and honor the legacy of real heroes and those impacted most by the Oklahoma City bombing.
- Participate in advanced leadership training and network with the next generation of Oklahoma’s leaders.
- Learn skills to take an active role in combatting violence and extremism.
- Become a trained facilitator for Better Conversations and take this bridge-building gift back to your community.
Applications are due June 7th. Only 25 will be selected for this exciting opportunity.
