Partnering with National Parks for Students
The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, in partnership with the National Park Service, is offering Oklahoma fourth graders the opportunity to visit the Memorial and Museum. An Open Outdoors for Kids grant from the National Park Foundation, the official charity of America’s national parks, allows us to help with transportation costs and admission fees.
Students will participate in pre-visit, onsite and post-visit activities – including the hands-on Uncover-Discover STEM Lab, Museum interactives and artifacts to understand the lessons learned from the Oklahoma City bombing. Students will also tour the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial with park rangers and learn how memorials and nature play an important role in healing.
