WE VISITED CHICKASHA HIGH SCHOOL ON MARCH 10, 2026!
Journey of Hope Phase II made its 23rd stop in Grady County, heading to Chickasha High School where 59 students took part in Better Conversations. Laura Kennedy, a Family Member and Survivor, opened the program by reading the Memorial’s Mission Statement. Laura’s son, Blake, was one of the 168 people killed in the Oklahoma City bombing. Students reflected on the Oklahoma Standard and what it means to carry those values forward today. They spoke about choosing kindness with their words, thinking before they speak and remembering how Oklahomans showed up for one another.
We visited Amber-Pocasset High School on October 24, 2024!
We visited Minco High School on December 11, 2024!
