WE VISITED JAY HIGH SCHOOL ON MARCH 5, 2026!
The Journey of Hope traveled to Delaware County, bringing 174 students at Jay High School together for Better Conversations about how communities respond to tragedy and how those lessons learned are still relevant today. During small group discussions, students talked about the importance of choosing words carefully, pushing back against bullying, and finding ways to bridge the divisions they see around them. One theme came up again and again: communities can work through hardship when people make the effort to come together.
