WE VISITED CLINTON HIGH SCHOOL ON APRIL 9, 2026!
Stop #32 on our Journey of Hope landed in Custer County where 100 Oklahoma History 9th grade students gained a deeper understanding of the April 19, 1995, bombing and came together for Better Conversations. Students also got to hear from Lt. Dwain Weil and Dusky Woodall, first responders with the Clinton Fire Department who spent three days helping with rescue and recovery efforts following the bombing. Their first-hand experience led to impactful discussions with the students. One of the day's biggest takeaways? Violence is never the answer — no matter what.
