We Honor President George H. W. Bush

We celebrate the life of our country’s 41st President. George H.W. Bush was a man of public service who held the vision of country above all else.

Alan Whicher, who was killed in the Oklahoma City bombing was a Secret Service agent who served on President Bush’s detail. Alan told his wife that George H. W. Bush was one of the finest men he had ever worked for above anyone else.

When Alan was killed, President Bush commented…

Al Whicher, who served on my [United States Secret Service] detail when I was Vice President and President, was killed in Oklahoma City… He was a kind man, a loving parent, a man dedicated to serving his country — and serve it well he did.

Alan Whicher and President Bush shake hands in this picture the President signed and gave to Alan during his service.
