Spring Break: Celebrating Life in Bloom

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is excited to announce our slate of events for the week of Spring Break. We will have special extended hours from 9:00am–6:00pm starting Friday, March 10 through Saturday, March 18. Make this Spring Break an enriching one by attending impactful programs all week.

Parking in the Memorial Garage is FREE with any paid admission to the Memorial Museum. Learn more here.

Ground Zero Rescue Dog Demonstrations
10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm

Join us on the Memorial grounds for a special demonstration by the dogs of Ground Zero K9 Emergency Training Center.

Half-price Museum admission for attendees.

Family STEM Experience
3:15pm – 5:15pm

Looking for a family activity this Spring Break? We’ve got you covered! Bring your family to a one-of-a-kind STEM experience highlighting how environmental science was used to honor those impacted by the April 19, 1995, bombing. You’ll learn from Urban Forestry Services legend Mark Bays!

Teachers and a guest are invited to tour the Museum for FREE! This is a great opportunity to learn about programs and resources to teach this important event in history.

Homeschool Day

Experience a tour of the Archives, our interactive and engaging STEM lab, and augmented reality! You and your family will explore the Museum and attend the Park Service Junior Ranger programming. Come and see us!

Park Service Junior Ranger Program

VIP EYEwitness Tour with Polly Nichols
8:00am – 9:30am

Experience the Museum through the stories of Polly Nichols. Polly is a survivor of the bombing but her cousin Adele Higginbottom was killed. She is a Memorial Trustee, Board Chair (2002-2003), and lifelong advocate for children in OKC, famously instrumental in the 168 Pennies Campaign, empowering students to contribute to the memorialization process.

Hispanic Day | Día Hispano
10:30am – 12:30pm

Join us for a day of special events that will tell the story of the bombing in Spanish, including a Tour of the Museum, a Story of Hope from a survivor, and a behind-the-scenes look at artifacts in our Archives that capture how the bombing impacted the Hispanic community in OKC.

All programs are free with adult admission. Children are free with participating adult.
