Denis Berthomier, General Manager of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris France, visited the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial today. Designer Tori Butzer, Executive Director Kari Watkins and Memorial Fellow Patrick Turpen walked he and his group through the design and symbolism of the Memorial. As General Manager of the Centre Pompidou, Berthomier was appointed by decree of the Minister for Culture and nomination by the President of France. Pompidou Centre houses the Musée National d’Art Moderne (The National Museum of Modern Art) the largest Modern Art Museum in Europe.
