Passing of the Leash

We are grateful to Express Employment International for donating a Ground Zero Emergency Training Center search dog to Oklahoma Task Force-1 (OKC) as part of the 168 Days of Remembrance.

Indy, a Golden Retriever, was gifted to emergency responders at a ceremony held inside the Memorial Museum. In the entire nation, only a handful of facilities exist that can ready these dogs for the demands of an urban search-and-rescue mission. We are fortunate to be partnered with one here in Oklahoma. Every dog must pass a rigorous screening at Ground Zero, but only after demonstrating the traits necessary to qualify for training in the first place.
