Honored to Host the U.S. Army

We were honored the Oklahoma City Army Recruiting Battalion celebrated its 243rd birthday here at the Memorial under the Survivor Tree. In 1995, the battalion was housed in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building which was destroyed when a truck bomb exploded on April 19, 1995. Eight people in that recruiting office were killed.
