The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum will remain open during the government shutdown.
As a privately owned and operated 501(c)3 nonprofit, the Memorial and Museum do not receive annual operating funds from federal, state or local governments. While we are a designated Affiliate Site of the National Park Service, our operations continue independently.
During the shutdown, National Park Service rangers will not be on site to interpret the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial. Visitors can instead use our FREE mobile app or check out an iPad in the Museum Lobby for audio tours of both the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial and the Memorial Museum. Staff, security and volunteers will also be available to assist.
In recognition of the 17 federal agencies impacted by the 1995 bombing, federal employees will receive FREE admission to the Museum during the shutdown by presenting a federal ID at the admissions desk.
We remain committed to honoring those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever.
