Don’t miss an opportunity to experience the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum in new ways! Every day there are new activities that you can participate in during spring break. Check out the daily events below.

Spring Break Schedule

  • ? 10:00 to 11:00am and 2:00 to 3:00pm | Meet the Curator – During your Memorial Museum visit, drop by and watch the curator process some collections. Find out about the types of artifacts the Museum collects, how they are used to tell stories and how they are preserved. Museum admission required. 
  • ? All Day | Teacher Free Day – Teachers and a guest are invited to tour the Memorial Museum for FREE! (use promo code TEACHER2022 and show ID at desk)
  • ? 10:00 to 11:00am | Lab Demo – During your visit, be sure to drop by the scheduled Uncover-Discover STEM Lab demonstration and learn about the educational resources the Memorial has to offer. This is a great opportunity to preview the Memorial and Museum and learn ways to teach your students about this important event in history.
  • ? 2:00 to 3:00pm | Uncover-Discover STEM Lab for families: Structures and Waves – On large interactive touch screen tables, learn how to build structures that can withstand different types of natural and man-made disasters, such as a tornado, hurricane, earthquake or explosion. Work together in teams to discover which materials are best suited for the various types of disasters.Register
  • ? 10:00 to 11:00am and 2:00 to 3:00pm | Called2Change Augmented Reality – Stop by during your Museum tour and use a tablet to interact with 3D buildings, videos, overlays and more, to learn about the Oklahoma City bombing, rescue and recovery efforts, investigation and justice. Also hear personal accounts of people impacted by the bombing.

  • ? 2:00 to 3:00pm | Uncover-Discover STEM Lab for families: Forensics – On large interactive touch screen tables, become a crime scene investigator and help solve the worst case of domestic terrorism on American soil. Work individually and in teams to collect and analyze evidence critical to the prosecution and ultimate conviction of those responsible for the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995.Register
  • ? 8:00 to 9:30am | EYEwitness Tour with Doris Jones – Experience an exclusive private tour of the Museum led by Doris Jones, whose daughter Carrie Lenz was killed in the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. A behind-the-scenes tour of the Archives will follow the tour. Each participant will receive 10% discount on all Museum Store purchases the day of the tour.   • ? 11:00am to 2:00pm | National Park Service Junior Ranger Day Explore. Learn. Protect. The NPS Junior Ranger program is an activity-based program. Complete a series of activities during the park visit, share your answers with a park ranger and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and Junior Ranger certificate. Junior Rangers are typically between the ages of 5 to 13, although people of all ages can participate. Join in at the Children’s Area in the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial.
Daily Activities
  • FREE Better Conversations card decks (while supplies last) | This special card deck can be used to navigate challenging topics of discussion with your family and friends to lead to Better Conversations.
  • Stronger Together Augmented Reality Experience | Use your device or check out an iPad in the Museum Lobby to experience the Stronger Together augmented reality experience during your visit.  You will meet six storytellers who represent the thousands impacted through augmented reality technology.  These storytellers will share personal experiences of those they represent and guide you through themes of Speaking Up, Liberty vs. Security, Forgiveness, Punishment, Memorialization, and Ethics in Journalism.
  • FREE parking with Museum admission! | The Memorial Parking Garage is FREE with a paid Museum admission.  The garage is located at 231 NW 6th Street, on the corner of NW 6th and Harvey Avenue.  Public entry to the garage is on Harvey Avenue just north of 6th Street.

With timed ticketing, there are a limited number of tickets available per hour, so be sure to reserve your tickets online to ensure your spot.
