On Thursday, February 20th, the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is hosting a special History is Relevant educator gathering in anticipation of the 30th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing.

Teachers, administrators, counselors, mentors, and educators of all types are invited to spend a day being inspired by speakers headlined by Brent Glass, director emeritus of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History and leading advocate for the preservation of public memory. His message will be punctuated by the stories of family members who lost loved ones, survivors, first responders, investigators, and journalists. Additionally, attendees will be able to participate in workshops led by Memorial educators, archivists, and curators sure to produce resources to engage and encourage students to connect with the lessons of this historical event that forever changed our world.
