Rogers County

The Journey of Hope is coming to Rogers County! Will Rogers Junior High School students will hear from a First-Person speaker about how the Claremore community was impacted by the bombing and how they have found light in the 30 years since the attack. The program will focus on the theme “A Day of Darkness – Years of Light.” Legislators representing Rogers County have been invited to this event and we will be honoring first responders with the Claremore Fire Department and the Catoosa Fire Department. Following the assembly, the Department of Agriculture and Oklahoma Forestry Services will help us plant a Survivor Tree sapling at the school.
