Journey of Hope Washington Middle School

The Journey of Hope is coming to McClain County! Wayne High School students will hear from someone deeply impacted by the Oklahoma City bombing. The talk will focus on the theme “A Day of Darkness – Years of Light.” Legislators representing McClain County have been invited to this event and we will be honoring first responders with the Blanchard Police Department, Purcell Police Department, Newcastle Fire Department, and Newcastle Police Department. Following the assembly, the Department of Agriculture and Oklahoma Forestry Services will help us plant a Survivor Tree sapling at the school!
