The Journey of Hope is coming to Payne County! Stillwater Junior High students will hear from Rosslyn Biggs, who lost her mother in the bombing, about how she was personally impacted by this event and how she has found light in the 30 years since the attack. The program will focus on the theme “A Day of Darkness – Years of Light.” Legislators representing Payne County have been invited to this event and we will be honoring first responders from across the county. Following the assembly, the Department of Agriculture and Oklahoma Forestry Services will help us plant a Survivor Tree sapling at the school.
