Journey of Hope
Noble County

The Journey of Hope is coming to Noble County! Perry High School students will hear from Sheriff Charlie Hanger about how his routine traffic stop on April 19th, 1995, resulted in the arrest of Timothy McVeigh. The program will focus on the theme “A Day of Darkness – Years of Light.” Legislators representing Noble County have been invited to this event and we will be honoring first responders from the Perry Fire Department. Following the assembly, the Department of Agriculture and Oklahoma Forestry Services will help us plant a Survivor Tree sapling at the school.
