Journey of Hope Guthrie High School

The Journey of Hope is coming to Logan County! Guthrie High School students will hear from family member Kathleen Treanor, who lost her young daughter as well as her mother-in-law and father-in-law in the attack. She will talk about her experience on April 19th, the impact it has had on her life, and the light she has found in the 30 years since. Legislators representing Logan County have been invited to this event and we will be honoring first responders with the Guthrie Police Department, Guthrie Fire Department, and Logan County Sheriff’s Office, who responded on April 19, 1995. Following the assembly, the Department of Agriculture and Oklahoma Forestry Services will help us plant a Survivor Tree sapling at the school!
