The Journey of Hope is coming to Grady County! We are going to Amber-Pocasset Schools to share stories of hope and resilience with the next generation of students. They will hear from family members and Amber-Pocasset teachers Jennifer Kennedy and Christie McComas on how they have found light and hope in the 30 years since the attack on April 19th. Legislators and first responders from the county will be invited to be recognized for their support both on April 19th and today. Following the assembly, the Oklahoma Forestry Service and Department of Agriculture will help us plant a Survivor Tree sapling at the school!
