People pour their hearts into sports. They come from around the world to compete in OKC’s world class events! From the Memorial Marathon to the OKC Thunder to the LA28 Olympic sports to be played in here – what is the civic role of athletics and how sports unite communities.

Hear from top Marathon and Thunder officials as well as two Olympic medalists (one who was the first female to winner the first Olympic gold medal for female marathon in 1984) as we dive into how sports give us all something to cheer about out as we kick off of our Summer Civic Season series of #BetterConversations.

This is part of Civic Season’s three-session series. Participation is FREE. Lunch is on us. Reserve your spot for one or all three day.
