Come and enjoy an evening of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. Using large interactive touch screen tables, families will learn how to build structures that can withstand different types of natural and man-made disasters, such as a tornado, hurricane, earthquake or explosion. Work together in teams to discover what materials are best suited for the various types of disasters. Families will also engage in hands-on activities with structural engineers from Benham, an architecture, engineering, and design build firm to learn how engineers design and test the ability of buildings to withstand earthquakes.
