Carrie Ann Lenz and her unborn son, Michael James Lenz III, were killed in the April 19, 1995, bombing while assigned to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in the Murrah Federal Building. This August 4th would be Carrie’s 55th birthday, and her mother, Doris Jones will honor Carrie’s birthday by leading an EYEwitness Tour. Doris was involved in the creation of the Memorial and Museum, was the first manager of the Memorial Store, and served as a Memorial Board Trustee. She made sure her daughter’s voice was heard by attending the trials and testifying in one of them. She also worked on changing legislation after the bombing.
