Doris Jones’ daughter Carrie Lenz was killed in the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Doris was involved in the creation of the Memorial and Museum, was the first manager of the Memorial Store and served as a Memorial Board Trustee. She made sure her daughter’s voice was heard by attending the trials and testifying in one of them. She also worked on changing legislation after the bombing.
