On April 19, 1995, Charlie Hanger made a routine traffic stop that ended with the arrest of Timothy McVeigh, who was later charged, convicted and executed for the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Recently retired, Hanger spent over four decades in law enforcement.
