Michelle Edstrom is the granddaughter of Katherine Louise Cregan, who was killed in the bombing on April 19, 1995. Kathy, as she was called by her friends, worked as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Previously widowed, Kathy was the center of a tight-knit family that included three sons, two spoiled Yorkshire terriers, two grandsons, and three granddaughters—to all of whom she was devoted and enjoyed spoiling. Today, Michelle practices law, specializing in immigration from her own practice in Oklahoma City.
