Better Conversations: Trustworthy Documentary

Thursday 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
620 N Harvey Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102

Join us for a Better Conversation over dinner and a screening of the documentary film Trustworthy: If journalism declines, democracy declines. We will be joined by the Executive Producer of the project, Stephany Zamora.

Trustworthy is a documentary that chronicles a 5,300-mile journey across America to explore the growing crisis of trust in media and whether we can find common ground. The Trustworthy team spoke with journalists, experts and everyday Americans across the political spectrum about how we got to this critical moment, how we can become better news and information consumers, and how we can come together to rise above the misinformation and discourse aimed at dividing our communities.

The Better Conversations program provides a framework for talking about difficult topics and building understanding across divides. Let’s have a Better Conversation about the challenges of modern information consumption and find Common Ground on this Sacred Ground.

Registration is required. Dinner and drinks provided.
