168 Lives. One Community. One Memorial and Museum.

Nearly three decades ago Oklahoma City was forever changed because of the unspeakable tragedy that killed 168 innocent lives and altered countless others. This senseless act of violence left an imprint of heartbreak that time cannot fully erase.

Yet, from the ashes of tragedy rose the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. This sacred ground stands as the foundation of remembrance, reflection, and renewal. With each passing year, its importance increases, and its story becomes more imperative.

Today, November 1st, we’re reaching out with a heartfelt request, asking you to participate in our annual Day of Giving. This day coincides with the beginning of the 168 Days of Remembrance, where we honor and remember those who were killed, those who survived, and those changed forever leading up to April 19, 2025.

This year, your gift will carry a greater impact, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor who has stepped forward to match donations, up to $15,000. This means that every dollar you give will go twice as far in helping us preserve the stories and lessons within these walls.

The Annual Day of Giving is more than a fundraising effort or a day on the calendar; it’s a call to action. it’s a day when we as a community come together to say, “We will always remember.” It’s a day when we honor the past, support the present, and invest in a future.

Thank you for helping to make this annual Day of Giving a day of meaning and impact. Your generosity and commitment will ensure that these stories endure and inspire for generations to come.

We come here to remember those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever. May all who leave here know the impact of violence. May this memorial offer comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity.®
