WE VISITED WESTVILLE HIGH SCHOOL ON MARCH 3, 2026!
The Journey of Hope Phase II continued with its 18th stop, this time at Westville High School in Adair County, where 41 students took part in the program. As they learned about the impact of the bombing and the way our state responded, the dialogue turned toward what the Oklahoma Standard looks like in their own school community. One word came up more than once: kindness. Students spoke about finding unity across different groups, choosing compassion even when opinions differ and remembering that you never know what someone else may be carrying.
