Notes for Orlando Victims

2016

On June 12, 2016, a mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando killed 49 people and wounded dozens. It was, at the time, the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. Shootings like this have unfortunately become a familiar part of the news cycle; a mass shooting in Las Vegas that occurred barely a year later would prove even deadlier.

These notes of support for Orlando show how Oklahoma City is bonded by shared experience to all places impacted by violence. We stand with the victims and families of those killed and wounded by the shooting in Orlando, and with all victims of hate, prejudice and violence.
