On April 22, 1995, a child asked President Bill Clinton how to help Oklahoma and those impacted by the bombing. The letters, drawings and other items sent from children after talking with President Clinton became a vital part of the healing that took place in the Oklahoma City community. The Memorial has never abandoned the belief that even seemingly small acts can greatly impact those around you. Through education programs, materials and workshops, the Memorial continues to help those in the community learn to make a difference.
